Story

The second song of J S Kingfisher's "From the Moon to the Earth" song cycle, Nosferatu—an Independent Music Award nominee—features Kingfisher on vocals, keyboards, and harpejji, a unique 24-string tap instrument available for use at the Philomusica studio. It also features a 3-piece horn section with Jay Mason on alto sax, and the sizzling percussion of Brad Dutz. Nosferatu was composed, arranged, recorded, and mixed by Jeff at Philomusica.

Story

This "reimagining" of Alphanaut's Look to the Future began with pads and drum loops from the original 2012 version. Jeff and composer/lead vocalist Mark Alan, along with bass player Austyn James, drummer Jeff Beardeaux, and guitarist Gary Stewart, worked up the basic track; the soulful backing vocals, jazz trumpet, and congas were brought in as the track progressed. Jeff plays keys with Alphanaut live, and is co-producing several tracks with Mark for their upcoming EP and album. Look to the Future was recorded and mixed at Philomusica.

Story

Peron rastanka is one track of several underway for Čekaću te, the upcoming album from Serbian vocalist and lyricist Dalibor Banović. The entire album is being produced by Jeff Kingfisher at Philomusica—he is composing, arranging, and playing keys on all the tracks as well. Peron rastanka features guitar work from Pink Floyd alumni Joe DiBlasi and the acoustic bass of Nick South.

North was the first song written recorded for the "From the Moon to the Earth" song cycle, and the last recording of jazz singer great Jeffery Smith before his untimely death in 2012. Composed, arranged, recorded, and mixed by Jeff at Philomusica, North features vibes and french horns along with Jeff's keyboards and Jeffery's stunning vocal performance.
